Babcock Electric was founded in 2020 by Jacob Babcock with a simple promise: do the job right, show up when we say we’ll show up, and stand behind the work. Six years later, that promise hasn’t changed — and the crew that answers the phone today is the same crew that’ll be answering it next year.
Why we’re different
We’re not a national franchise. We’re not a name licensed from a corporate office in Atlanta. We’re a Lake Charles-based electrical contractor with our trucks parked here, our crew living here, and our reputation built on setting standards that exceed our competition and word of mouth from your neighbors in the community.
That means smaller overhead, no corporate scripts, no “we have to call our regional manager,” no surprise fees buried in a franchise agreement. When you call us, you talk to someone who answers to the same name on the side of the truck.
